What would you miss most about your home?

Posted on Dec 7th, 2008 by warrior of nonaggression : Mr..Brightside warrior of nonaggression
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 07, 2008:

hi !
I recently left my old house and shifted to new one. So now I miss everything of that house, specially the childhood days spent on that house and the tree which me and my brother  planted when we were around the age of ten. Now that tree has grown very tall.It gives a fruit too, but I do not know what we exactly call that fruit in English. I am praying and hoping that nobody will cut that tree.
 thank you !

Learning To Live is Learning To Let Go:-

Posted on Dec 7th, 2008 by warrior of nonaggression : Mr..Brightside warrior of nonaggression
Above sentence is said by Sogyal Rinpoche,(The Tibetan Book on living and Dying) I found this word very enlightening and very much applicable to life. I used to think that I lost many things in my life. I am using the word lost because I fought to win those things. But my fight to win the material thing didn’t bring any victory but only brought the sense of loss.  In reality I fought not to win but to loose. The only thing remaining from that struggle was pain, agony and suffering.  When I realized the true nature of the thing i.e. impermanent, things became easy. Accepting the impermanent nature of the material things helped me a lot to remain happy and to be self- satisfied and than instead of fighting to win I learn to let go the thing. Letting go the things helped me to understand and to accept the reality of life.
When we seat quietly and think that every one who we knew will leave us some or the other day, all those blood ties, all those friends, all those love ones will leave sooner or later and even our own body will not be forever than we realize that there is very few thing that we really need to be happy.
My personal experience is that, realizing the truth is more important than just knowing the truth. Realizing and knowing are two different aspects. To let go the thing is not easy task, it is a process and we develop this process through out our life.
~PEACE~~
